Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two Young Women by Trần Văn Thọ was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2013. The price achieved of HKD 52,500.00 (€ 4,981.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Trần Văn Thọ have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Couturière (Lady In Couture) in April 2019 with an auction result of HKD 275,000.00 (€ 31,303.01).

Die Arbeit Two Young Women von Trần Văn Thọ kam im Oktober 2013 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 52.500,00 (€ 4.981,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Trần Văn Thọ auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Couturière (Lady In Couture) im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 31.303,01).
