The work Thuyen Cau Dau Ben (Boat Dock) by Tran Van Ha was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. It achieved a price of HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,022.49), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. Admittedly, works by Tran Van Ha have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Trung Sisters in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 1,125,000.00 (€ 123,258.88).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 38 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Thuyen Cau Dau Ben (Boat Dock) von Tran Van Ha kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 137.500,00 (€ 15.022,49) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tran Van Ha auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Trung Sisters im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.125.000,00 (€ 123.258,88).
