Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art, which included the work Peasants by Tran Van Ha. It changed hands for a price of HKD 89,600.00 (€ 10,835.43) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tran Van Ha achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Trung Sisters in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 1,125,000.00 (€ 123,258.88).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Peasants von Tran Van Ha zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 89.600,00 (€ 10.835,43) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 70.000,00 – 90.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tran Van Ha erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Trung Sisters im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.125.000,00 (€ 123.258,88).
