Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Stork And Bamboo by Tran Van Ha was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 60,000.00 – 90,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,114.32) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tran Van Ha achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Trung Sisters in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 1,125,000.00 (€ 123,258.88).
