Artwork auctioned at ten times the upper estimate price
When the work Stags And Does In A Mountain Landscape by Tran Van Ha was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - HKD 68,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than ten times as high at HKD 687,500.00 (€ 75,324.87). Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Tran Van Ha; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Trung Sisters sold at auction in July 2020 with the realized price of HKD 1,125,000.00 (€ 123,258.88).
Kunstwerk zum Zehnfachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Als die Arbeit Stags And Does In A Mountain Landscape von Tran Van Ha im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches. Der obere Schätzpreis war mit – rückwirkend betrachtet recht bescheidenen – HKD 68.000,00 angesetzt, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis hingegen war mit HKD 687.500,00 (€ 75.324,87) mehr als zehnmal so hoch. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Tran Van Ha; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Trung Sisters im Juli 2020 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 1.125.000,00 (€ 123.258,88).
