Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Tran Binh Loc achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. In the Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction, the work River Scene sold for HKD 687,500.00 (€ 80,318.33) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 250,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tran Binh Loc - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La soeur et le petit frère (Siblings), which sold at auction in December 2021 for HKD 2,500,000.00 (€ 283,177.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tran Binh Loc erzielte im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Art wurde die Arbeit River Scene für HKD 687.500,00 (€ 80.318,33) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 250.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Tran Binh Loc mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La soeur et le petit frère (Siblings) beobachtet, die im Dezember 2021 für HKD 2.500.000,00 (€ 283.177,24) versteigert wurde.
