In October 2015 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Art, which included the work Portrait Of A Young Woman From Hanoi by Tran Binh Loc. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,381.00), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tran Binh Loc achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La soeur et le petit frère (Siblings) in December 2021 with an auction result of HKD 2,500,000.00 (€ 283,177.24).

Im Oktober 2015 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of A Young Woman From Hanoi von Tran Binh Loc zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.381,00) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tran Binh Loc erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La soeur et le petit frère (Siblings) im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.500.000,00 (€ 283.177,24).
