Auction result well in line with expectations
The work From Code by Tony Cragg was auctioned at Bonhams in Brussels in December this year. The price achieved of EUR 2,816.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,200.00 – 3,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tony Cragg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Constant Change in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 849,062.00 (€ 984,851.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit From Code von Tony Cragg kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Brüssel zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.816,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.200,00 – 3.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tony Cragg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Constant Change im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 849.062,00 (€ 984.851,03).
