Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Head and Neck by Tony Bevan was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2018. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,279.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tony Bevan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Corridor in October 2017 with an auction result of GBP 112,500.00 (€ 128,272.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Head and Neck von Tony Bevan kam im November 2018 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.279,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tony Bevan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Corridor im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 112.500,00 (€ 128.272,02).
