Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Leisure Series No. 4 by Tong Zhengang was sold in the Fine Modern and Contemporary Chinese Paintings I & II auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2006. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 90,000.00 (€ 9,039.98). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tong Zhengang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Boredom · Ruyi Scepter, which sold at auction in October 2013 for HKD 287,500.00 (€ 27,282.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Leisure Series No. 4 von Tong Zhengang wurde im Mai 2006 in der Auktion Fine Modern and Contemporary Chinese Paintings I & II bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 90.000,00 (€ 9.039,98) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Tong Zhengang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Boredom · Ruyi Scepter beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für HKD 287.500,00 (€ 27.282,26) versteigert wurde.
