Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Lamentation by Tommaso was sold in the Old Master Paintings Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in December 2008. The price achieved of GBP 49,250.00 (€ 51,726.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tommaso have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Madonna And Child With The Young St. John The Baptist And An Angel In A Landscape in January 2014 with an auction result of USD 581,000.00 (€ 430,370.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Lamentation von Tommaso wurde im Dezember 2008 in der Auktion Old Master Paintings Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 49.250,00 (€ 51.726,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tommaso auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Madonna And Child With The Young St. John The Baptist And An Angel In A Landscape im Januar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 581.000,00 (€ 430.370,37).
