Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of USD 35,000.00 (€ 31,378.88), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tommaso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Madonna And Child With The Young St. John The Baptist And An Angel In A Landscape in January 2014 with an auction result of USD 581,000.00 (€ 430,370.37).

Die Arbeit The Holy Family with the Infant Saint John the Baptist von Tommaso wurde im Juni 2015 in der Auktion Old Master Paintings bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 31.378,88) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tommaso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Madonna And Child With The Young St. John The Baptist And An Angel In A Landscape im Januar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 581.000,00 (€ 430.370,37).
