Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction The Collection of G. Andrew Bjurman, which included the work You Bet He'll Buck 24 x 30 in. framed 32 x 37 1/2 in. by Tom Ryan. The price achieved of USD 9,562.50 (€ 9,263.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tom Ryan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Starry Night in February 2019 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 43,940.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion The Collection of G. Andrew Bjurman durch, in der auch die Arbeit You Bet He'll Buck 24 x 30 in. framed 32 x 37 1/2 in. von Tom Ryan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 9.562,50 (€ 9.263,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tom Ryan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Starry Night im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 43.940,59).
