In May 2013 Christies in London held the auction Vintage Posters, which included the work Canada For Holidays, Canadian Pacific by Tom Purvis. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,215.18), 38% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tom Purvis - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work WHITLEY BAY, which sold at auction in June 2015 for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 7,931.18).

Im Mai 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Vintage Posters durch, in der auch die Arbeit Canada For Holidays, Canadian Pacific von Tom Purvis zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.215,18) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Tom Purvis mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit WHITLEY BAY beobachtet, die im Juni 2015 für GBP 5.625,00 (€ 7.931,18) versteigert wurde.
