Auction result well in line with expectations
The work At the rally by Tom McGuinness was sold in the At Home-British and Continental Pictures and Works on Paper auction at Christies in London in October 2003. The price achieved of GBP 528.75 (€ 772.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tom McGuinness achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The road to work in August 2015 with an auction result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,234.59).
