Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2003 Christies in London held the auction Twentieth Century British Art, which included the work Gypsy Caravan by Tom Early. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 881.25 (€ 1,151.85). Other works by Tom Early have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 1,402.50 (€ 1,566.72) in December 2020 for the work Chapter House Steps, Wells Cathedral.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2003 führte Christies in London die Auktion Twentieth Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gypsy Caravan von Tom Early zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 881,25 (€ 1.151,85) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Tom Early haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.402,50 (€ 1.566,72) im Dezember 2020 für die Arbeit Chapter House Steps, Wells Cathedral beobachtet.
