Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cartoon Bike. by Tom Blackwell was sold in the Prints and Multiples | ONLINE ONLY auction at VAN HAM in February last year. The price achieved of EUR 396.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tom Blackwell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Exiting Celine. Monaco" in December 2020 with an auction result of EUR 193,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cartoon Bike. von Tom Blackwell wurde im Februar letzten Jahres in der Auktion Prints and Multiples | ONLINE ONLY bei VAN HAM versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 396,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tom Blackwell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Exiting Celine. Monaco" im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 193.500,00.
