Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work A Still Life With A Teacaddy, A Copper Bowl And A Pipe by Tjitske Geertruida Maria van Hettinga Tromp was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2001, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of NLG 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for NLG 1,410.00 (€ 677.71). Other works by Tjitske Geertruida Maria van Hettinga Tromp have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2002 by the work A still life with fruits at EUR 1,075.50.

Als die Arbeit A Still Life With A Teacaddy, A Copper Bowl And A Pipe von Tjitske Geertruida Maria van Hettinga Tromp im Juni 2001 bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus.
