Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Summer Blooms by Tito Conti was sold in the 19th Century European Art Including Russian Pictures and a Symbolist Collection with a Richard Wagner section auction at Christies in London in June 2006. The price achieved of GBP 9,600.00 (€ 13,891.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tito Conti - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Italian Agreeable Tidings, which sold at auction in April 2007 for USD 66,000.00 (€ 48,316.25).
