Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Tito Conti could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in May 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th Century European Art including an Important Collection of Sculpture auction, the work Italian the Introduction changed hands for USD 43,750.00 (€ 30,432.67) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Other works by Tito Conti have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in April 2007 by the work Italian Agreeable Tidings at USD 66,000.00 (€ 48,316.25).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tito Conti konnte im Mai 2011 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th Century European Art including an Important Collection of Sculpture wechselte die Arbeit Italian the Introduction für USD 43.750,00 (€ 30.432,67) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00.
