Auction result well in line with expectations
In October last year China Guardian held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Pine and Eagle by T'Ing Yin-Yung. It changed hands for a price of HKD 26,400.00 (€ 3,383.05) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 15,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by T'Ing Yin-Yung achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers In A Jar (Painted In 1971) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 1,680,000.00 (€ 1,715,608.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte China Guardian die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pine and Eagle von T'Ing Yin-Yung zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 26.400,00 (€ 3.383,05) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 15.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von T'Ing Yin-Yung erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers In A Jar (Painted In 1971) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.680.000,00 (€ 1.715.608,70).
