Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vase with Zhong Kui by T'Ing Yin-Yung was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2020. The price achieved of HKD 2,250,000.00 (€ 237,326.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 1,800,000.00 – 2,800,000.00. Admittedly, works by T'Ing Yin-Yung have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flowers In A Jar (Painted In 1971) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 1,680,000.00 (€ 1,715,608.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Vase with Zhong Kui von T'Ing Yin-Yung kam im Dezember 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 2.250.000,00 (€ 237.326,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 1.800.000,00 – 2.800.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von T'Ing Yin-Yung auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flowers In A Jar (Painted In 1971) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.680.000,00 (€ 1.715.608,70).
