Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Homage To Mondrian by Tim Threlfall was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2009. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,043.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tim Threlfall - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work In Memory Of Adrian Heath, which sold at auction in March 2008 for GBP 6,750.00 (€ 8,479.67).

Die Arbeit Homage To Mondrian von Tim Threlfall kam im März 2009 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.043,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Tim Threlfall mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit In Memory Of Adrian Heath beobachtet, die im März 2008 für GBP 6.750,00 (€ 8.479,67) versteigert wurde.
