A top price for TIDE - as previously expected
The work TWO OF US by TIDE was sold in the Contemporary Curated: Hong Kong auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July last year. The price achieved of HKD 655,200.00 (€ 81,755.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 500,000.00 – 800,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, TWO OF US is the most expensive artwork by TIDE that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit TWO OF US von TIDE wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Curated: Hong Kong bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 655.200,00 (€ 81.755,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 500.000,00 – 800.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist TWO OF US das teuerste Kunstwerk von TIDE, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
