Auction result misses estimated price range
In September this year a collector was able to acquire the work “En Loggia ved Sorrent” by Thorald Brendstrup for DKK 4,200.00 (€ 563.10). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of DKK 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thorald Brendstrup achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Villa Poniatowski, Rome in May 2016 with an auction result of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 15,495.62).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “En Loggia ved Sorrent” von Thorald Brendstrup für DKK 4.200,00 (€ 563,10) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thorald Brendstrup erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Villa Poniatowski, Rome im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 15.495,62).
