Admittedly, works by Thomas Willeboirts have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Study of a child's head in November 2012 with an auction result of EUR 133,000.00.

Die Arbeit Head study of a young man von Thomas Willeboirts wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Old Masters Paintings & Sculpture bei Christies in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 16.731,36) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Thomas Willeboirts auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Study of a child's head im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 133.000,00.
