Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Old Master Paintings, which included the work Perseus And Andromeda by Thomas Willeboirts. The price achieved of GBP 22,750.00 (€ 26,679.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Thomas Willeboirts have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Study of a child's head in November 2012 with an auction result of EUR 133,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Old Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Perseus And Andromeda von Thomas Willeboirts zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 22.750,00 (€ 26.679,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Thomas Willeboirts auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Study of a child's head im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 133.000,00.
