Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Itinerant Musician by Thomas Uwins was sold in the British and Continental Watercolours auction at Christies in London in July 2006. The price achieved of GBP 660.00 (€ 966.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Uwins achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Returning from School in February 2003 with an auction result of GBP 7,767.50 (€ 11,340.30).

Die Arbeit The Itinerant Musician von Thomas Uwins wurde im Juli 2006 in der Auktion British and Continental Watercolours bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 660,00 (€ 966,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Uwins erzielen.
