The work Wooded Landscape, With Farm Buildings Beyond by Thomas Shotter Boys was sold in the Old Master and British Works on Paper Including drawings from the Oppé Collection auction at Sothebys in London in July 2016. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,125.00 (€ 3,713.18), 74% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Shotter Boys achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Pavillon de Flore, Tuileries, Paris in December 2010 with an auction result of GBP 43,250.00 (€ 50,169.87).
