Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Thomas Sherlock Hodgson could be acquired at Sothebys in Toronto in November 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Important Canadian Art auction, the work Calligraphy changed hands for CAD 7,800.00 (€ 5,684.32) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of CAD 8,000.00 – 10,000.00. Other works by Thomas Sherlock Hodgson have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2010 by the work Sketch at CAD 10,800.00 (€ 8,069.35).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Thomas Sherlock Hodgson konnte im November 2011 bei Sothebys in Toronto für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
