Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Boat (recto); Landscape (verso) by Thomas Pollock Anshutz for USD 2,750.00 (€ 1,810.76). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Pollock Anshutz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Woman Writing At A Table in March 2010 with an auction result of USD 40,625.00 (€ 30,034.75).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
