In the Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art auction, the work On The Amalfi Coast sold for GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,253.54) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Thomas Miles Richardson Jnr.; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Foot of Loch Katrine, Perthshire sold at auction in October 2002 with the realized price of GBP 8,962.50 (€ 14,177.09).
