Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March this year Bonhams held the auction British and European Art, which included the work 'Lake Nemi, Kingdom Of Naples' by Thomas Miles Richardson Jnr.. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,402.50 (€ 1,595.61), 17% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Thomas Miles Richardson Jnr. have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Foot of Loch Katrine, Perthshire in October 2002 with an auction result of GBP 8,962.50 (€ 14,177.09).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion British and European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Lake Nemi, Kingdom Of Naples' von Thomas Miles Richardson Jnr. zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.402,50 (€ 1.595,61) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Thomas Miles Richardson Jnr. auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Foot of Loch Katrine, Perthshire im Oktober 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.962,50 (€ 14.177,09).
