Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A mother and child by Thomas LoMedico was sold in the THE HOUSE SALE auction at Christies in New York in November 2005. The price achieved of USD 2,640.00 (€ 2,239.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Thomas LoMedico - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Immigrant, which sold at auction in September 2008 for USD 12,500.00 (€ 8,877.21).
