Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Thomas Kiesewetter was auctioned at Phillips in London in April 2018. It achieved a price of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,253.51), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Thomas Kiesewetter - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Barriere., which sold at auction in June 2018 for EUR 22,500.00.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Thomas Kiesewetter kam im April 2018 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.253,51) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Für andere Arbeiten von Thomas Kiesewetter mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Barriere. beobachtet, die im Juni 2018 für EUR 22.500,00 versteigert wurde.
