Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Thomas Kiesewetter could be acquired at Sothebys in London in December 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Hoarder Sale auction, the work Grosses Portrait (Large Portrait) changed hands for GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,659.24) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Thomas Kiesewetter have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Barriere. in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 22,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Thomas Kiesewetter konnte im Dezember 2019 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The Hoarder Sale wechselte die Arbeit Grosses Portrait (Large Portrait) für GBP 2.250,00 (€ 2.659,24) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Thomas Kiesewetter auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Barriere. im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 22.500,00.
