Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2000 Christies in London held the auction SPORTING ART AND DOGS, which included the work Rattler, a chestnut hunter outside a stable yard; and Menelek, a dark brown hunter in a loose box by Thomas Ivester Lloyd. The price achieved of GBP 1,762.50 (€ 2,793.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Thomas Ivester Lloyd have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Going To The Meet; The Meet; Setting Off; At The Covert; On The Scent; Moving Off; Tally Ho!; Over The Fence; Clearing The Gate; Closing In; The Kill; Returning Home. in June 2001 with an auction result of GBP 7,050.00 (€ 11,711.45).

Im Juni 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion SPORTING ART AND DOGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rattler, a chestnut hunter outside a stable yard; and Menelek, a dark brown hunter in a loose box von Thomas Ivester Lloyd zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.762,50 (€ 2.793,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden.
