Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2001 Christies in London held the auction Sporting Art and Dogs, which included the work Blazer, a light bay hunter by Thomas Ivester Lloyd. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 705.00 (€ 1,121.88). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Ivester Lloyd achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Going To The Meet; The Meet; Setting Off; At The Covert; On The Scent; Moving Off; Tally Ho!; Over The Fence; Clearing The Gate; Closing In; The Kill; Returning Home. in June 2001 with an auction result of GBP 7,050.00 (€ 11,711.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2001 führte Christies in London die Auktion Sporting Art and Dogs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Blazer, a light bay hunter von Thomas Ivester Lloyd zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 705,00 (€ 1.121,88) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Ivester Lloyd erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Going To The Meet; The Meet; Setting Off; At The Covert; On The Scent; Moving Off; Tally Ho!; Over The Fence; Clearing The Gate; Closing In; The Kill; Returning Home. im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.050,00 (€ 11.711,45).
