In June 2000 Christies in London held the auction SPORTING ART AND DOGS, which included the work A huntsman with hounds in an extensive landscape by Thomas Ivester Lloyd. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Thomas Ivester Lloyd - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Going To The Meet; The Meet; Setting Off; At The Covert; On The Scent; Moving Off; Tally Ho!; Over The Fence; Clearing The Gate; Closing In; The Kill; Returning Home., which sold at auction in June 2001 for GBP 7,050.00 (€ 11,711.45).
