Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Rowing out to the fishing fleet by Thomas Huson was sold in the British & Continental Watercolours auction at Christies in London in February 2007. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 720.00 (€ 1,067.37), 20% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Thomas Huson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Showery autumn weather, which sold at auction in September 2007 for GBP 1,500.00 (€ 2,150.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Rowing out to the fishing fleet von Thomas Huson wurde im Februar 2007 in der Auktion British & Continental Watercolours bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 720,00 (€ 1.067,37) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Thomas Huson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Showery autumn weather beobachtet, die im September 2007 für GBP 1.500,00 (€ 2.150,89) versteigert wurde.
