A top price for Thomas Huson - as previously expected
In September 2007 Christies in London held the auction Victorian & Traditionalist Pictures, which included the work Showery autumn weather by Thomas Huson. The result of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 2,150.89) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Showery autumn weather is the most expensive artwork by Thomas Huson that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im September 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion Victorian & Traditionalist Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Showery autumn weather von Thomas Huson zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 2.150,89) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Showery autumn weather das teuerste Kunstwerk von Thomas Huson, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
