Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Online | London, which included the work Lomexin (La Série Des Antifongiques) by Thomas Hirschhorn. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,871.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Hirschhorn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abstrait Relief No. 548 (Nietzche) in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 84,000.00 (€ 125,503.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Online | London durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lomexin (La Série Des Antifongiques) von Thomas Hirschhorn zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.871,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Hirschhorn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Abstrait Relief No. 548 (Nietzche) im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 84.000,00 (€ 125.503,48).
