Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The beach at Scheveningen, with fishermen selling their catch by Thomas Heeremans was sold in the Old Master & British Paintings auction at Christies in London in April 2015. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 5,149.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Thomas Heeremans have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A River Landscape With Figures In Boats Moored Beside A Village in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 34,100.00 (€ 46,336.12).
