Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters, which included the work A Village Landscape With Figures Outside A Tavern by Thomas Heeremans. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,376.72), 19% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Thomas Heeremans have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A River Landscape With Figures In Boats Moored Beside A Village in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 34,100.00 (€ 46,336.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Village Landscape With Figures Outside A Tavern von Thomas Heeremans zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.376,72) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Thomas Heeremans auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A River Landscape With Figures In Boats Moored Beside A Village im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 34.100,00 (€ 46.336,12).
