Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year Bonhams held the auction Old Master Paintings, which included the work A winter scene with figures skating outside the town walls by Thomas Heeremans. It changed hands for a price of GBP 4,845.00 (€ 5,521.72) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Thomas Heeremans have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A River Landscape With Figures In Boats Moored Beside A Village in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 34,100.00 (€ 46,336.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Old Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A winter scene with figures skating outside the town walls von Thomas Heeremans zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 4.845,00 (€ 5.521,72) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Thomas Heeremans auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A River Landscape With Figures In Boats Moored Beside A Village im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 34.100,00 (€ 46.336,12).
