In October 2013 Christies in London held the auction Old Masters & British Paintings, which included the work A winter landscape with skaters outside the gates of a city by Thomas Heeremans. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 18,750.00 (€ 22,162.35), 56% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Thomas Heeremans - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A River Landscape With Figures In Boats Moored Beside A Village, which sold at auction in December 2007 for GBP 34,100.00 (€ 46,336.12).

Im Oktober 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Masters & British Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A winter landscape with skaters outside the gates of a city von Thomas Heeremans zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 22.162,35) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Thomas Heeremans mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A River Landscape With Figures In Boats Moored Beside A Village beobachtet, die im Dezember 2007 für GBP 34.100,00 (€ 46.336,12) versteigert wurde.
