Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A River Landscape Beside A Village With Figures Loading Their Boats by Thomas Heeremans was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,546.23) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Thomas Heeremans - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A River Landscape With Figures In Boats Moored Beside A Village, which sold at auction in December 2007 for GBP 34,100.00 (€ 46,336.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A River Landscape Beside A Village With Figures Loading Their Boats von Thomas Heeremans kam im Dezember 2013 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.546,23) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Thomas Heeremans mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A River Landscape With Figures In Boats Moored Beside A Village beobachtet, die im Dezember 2007 für GBP 34.100,00 (€ 46.336,12) versteigert wurde.
