Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A beach scene with fisherfolk by a beacon and a village beyond, probably Katwijk aan Zee by Thomas Heeremans was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2015. The price achieved of EUR 1,375.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Heeremans achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A River Landscape With Figures In Boats Moored Beside A Village in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 34,100.00 (€ 46,336.12).

Die Arbeit A beach scene with fisherfolk by a beacon and a village beyond, probably Katwijk aan Zee von Thomas Heeremans kam im Mai 2015 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.375,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Heeremans erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A River Landscape With Figures In Boats Moored Beside A Village im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 34.100,00 (€ 46.336,12).
