Auction result well in line with expectations
The work S. Maria e S. Pietro, Toscanella by Thomas Hartley Cromek was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2005. The price achieved of GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,769.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Artist'S Wife Admiring The Skyline Of Florence With The Bargello, Badia, Forte Belvedere, Palazzo Vecchio, Duomo And Campanile, From A Roof Terrace On The Via Dei Servi in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 14,900.00 (€ 20,246.57).
