Sold at the lower estimate price
In October 2005 Christies in London held the auction WATERCOLOURS OF THE GRAND TOUR FROM A PRIVATE COLLECTION, which included the work A chair in Edward Cheney's room in the Palazzo Corner Spinelli, Venice by Thomas Hartley Cromek. The result of GBP 600.00 (€ 884.82) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Hartley Cromek achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Artist'S Wife Admiring The Skyline Of Florence With The Bargello, Badia, Forte Belvedere, Palazzo Vecchio, Duomo And Campanile, From A Roof Terrace On The Via Dei Servi in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 14,900.00 (€ 20,246.57).
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Artist'S Wife Admiring The Skyline Of Florence With The Bargello, Badia, Forte Belvedere, Palazzo Vecchio, Duomo And Campanile, From A Roof Terrace On The Via Dei Servi im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 14.900,00 (€ 20.246,57).
